FAQ
What these classes are, and aren’t

How should I take these classes?
As they are intended: for fitness and enjoyment. Come to move, sweat, get stronger and have a good time. Work at your own level, follow the class, and leave feeling better than you arrived.
They are not a substitute for qualified physiotherapy, medical treatment or clinical rehabilitation. If you need that kind of care, get it from the right professional. Then come here to keep moving.
Can I come if I have an injury, stiffness or a health condition?
Often yes. The same class can usually be modified rather than turning you away. Reduced balance, stiffness, lower fitness, osteoarthritis, previous injuries, reduced mobility or time away from exercise can all be worked with at your own level.
What we cannot do is treat a condition. If in doubt, see your qualified medical professional first.
Do I need to be a dancer, or already fit?
No. You don’t need to be a dancer, an athlete or particularly fit to get started. Work at your own level, challenge yourself when you’re ready, and build from there. Classes are 16+ open adult sessions. They are not suitable for under 16s, because weights, rebounders and gym balls can cause injury if used incorrectly.
What does “resist” actually mean?
Resistance is not just weights. Resistance exercise can include bodyweight, resistance bands, small handheld weights, and similar tools. Resist Kinetics uses small handheld weights and resistance bands.
Who is Kinetics 360 for?
Anyone 16 and over who wants to move better, feel stronger and keep moving. That might mean getting fit, staying active, trying something new, maintaining movement as life changes, or finding a pathway back into exercise after time away. It is still exercise and movement, not rehab.
Still unsure?
